**New Advisory Role = ChatGPT**

**New Advisory Role = ChatGPT**

This month, I started an advisory position with Hook + Ladder Digital , an incredible team of creatives providing digital marketing services from branding, strategy design, and operational execution in the many fields of digital marketing.

If anyone is looking for an alternative perspective on turning your digital marketing into a revenue generator, look no further. This dynamic team will step in to re-invigorate, redirect, and where necessary provide the paradigm shift to shift a companies approach to digital marketing.

Part of the advisory position is acting as a sudo sales director with a coach // player approach. In that process, I was about to pull together a suggested cold calling schedule for our sales team when I thought I would check in with #chatgpt and see what it would suggest for such a request.

My ask:

Write me a schedule to cold call prospects that spans 5 days a week, 2 hours a day and takes into account the best times to call prospects every day. **Please note, I appreciate most sales teams will call more than 2 hours per day, it was just a question to #chatgpt!**

Cheeky Loom for ya...

Chatgpt's response:

"Monday: 9am-11am, 1pm-3pm

Tuesday: 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm

Wednesday: 11am-1pm, 3pm-5pm

Thursday: 12pm-2pm, 4pm-6pm

Friday: 1pm-3pm, 5pm-7pm

It is generally considered best to call prospects early in the week and during business hours. Avoid calling on Fridays, as well as early mornings and late evenings when people may be more likely to be away from their desks. Additionally, research has shown that the best times to call are generally around 10am and 2pm."

I would think that if its pulling from every possible #source, relevant #writer / #blogger / #streamer / #You-Tuber, this must be the must pretty accurate?

I will keep it quick.

For me, this is a great place to start. I know from my experience, those hours are pretty accurate. I would argue Sunday evenings could be useful but beyond that, I would take the above timetable to the #bank . That being said, if I were to ask #chatgpt about something in a field I lacked subject matter expertise, I wouldn't know how to disseminate the answer, whether it was out of date, irrelevant, misunderstood (some of the feedback I have heard to date).

So, if you know your stuff, there is no harm asking Chatgpt to confirm assumptions, get through some of the leg work that you can review and affirm but be careful to drip into territories unknown. That could get a little tricky!

Cheers + Happy Sabado folks!
