New adventures coming up...

I am very excited to announce that I will be joining VMware, starting the 1st of July!

I've had a fantastic 8 year long ride at Login Consultants, working with fantastic colleagues, true thought leaders in the end-user-computing domain! I've seen Flex Profile Kit grow up and becoming VMware UEM. I've witnessed the birth and rise of LoginVSI (don't forget, this started as a schoolproject, can you believe that?) and I've worked together with some of the great minds in the company on Solution4, the product now known as LoginAM, the latest addition to the LoginVSI suite.

"Wow. You talk so enthustiasticly about all the things happening at Login? Why leave?", I hear you think. Have you read the first sentence? I am joining freakin' VMware!!

I will take on the responsibility of developing (and maintaining) the Benelux NSX partner network as a partner development specialist.

"Wait. What? NSX? That's not EUC...."

Well. That's not entirely true. Sure, it's not Horizon View, it's not Airwatch and it's not AppVolumes. Consider if you will that the entire market is focusing on delivering consumer simplicity whilst keeping enterprise security. How do you suggest achieving that goal without all the pro's of software (like flexibility, scalability, redundancy, dynamic operation, automation)? And what are we delivering exactly? Right. Applications! It's all about the applications!

On the other side, NSX is a true security product! It's no longer a question of whether an infrastructure will be hacked, the question is; how much damage is a hacker allowed to do? NSX provided the admin with the tooling needed to dynamically build and maintain a secure network. 

I'm looking forward to meeting you in my new role, exploring all business benefits the functionality of NSX offers to your company!
