Fernando will share what adidas has learned from their pilot programs to study how GenAI can improve engineering productivity. Their goal was to explore how GenAI could help people have more time for focused work, as opposed to overhead meetings, design, alignment, reporting and more.

Tracy Behler — Senior Director - Online Experience & Kiyoshi Kusachi — Senior Director - IT; Hawaiian Airlines

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hawaiian Airlines swiftly revolutionized its reservation system to meet the urgent need for self-service and automation. The airline automated flight cancellations and rebookings through its mobile app and website, eliminating human intervention, reducing errors, and saving countless hours. Tracy and Kiyoshi will talk about the challenges they faced and how they overcame them.

Two years ago, Capt Biehn gave a presentation about modernizing the U.S. Navy Aegis Combat System. This year, he continues that journey and shares how it enables the expansion of the contractor and industrial base to bring non-traditional companies into the defense ecosystem. Success stories include containerized missile launchers and enhanced sensors, which resulted from reclaiming technical baselines and fostering competition, transforming Navy capabilities.
