The New abnormal !
The number of articles I have been reading on the new normal amazes me, this is not the normal, it is the abnormal and why are we trying to make this a normal ? Normal means usual and this is absolutely not the usual or the standard. Things are changing everyday and everyday is a new learning. We are redefining our lives every single moment and this is not here to stay. How leaders, their people and everyone around us are managing their personal and professional lives is something we all are learning from each other. There were no guidelines for this and there never will be as this is not to stay. What is important is not to define the new normal but the new adaptability to deal with changes which we are facing everyday. The word New Normal is terrifying and it is again making us try to latch on to something that should stay for a while but it will not so instead of defining that lets be agile, adaptable and manage the new abnormal which is not permanent.

4 年Yes, i agree. We need not rush to define what the normal post covid will be like....let's first live it and experience it and then decide how to define it...

4 年I don't quite agree, Rita. Things are not going to go back to what they were and they rightly shouldn't. Companies have decided to incorporate remote working in some form or the other permanently in their policies. Office footprint is likely going to reduce. The hygiene habits everyone has learned are going to stick around. We have realised agility is possible and what makes it possible. Those will stay too.
