A New 3D Framework for Sustainable Investing
In this issue, we’re excited to introduce several new developments, starting with an invitation to our upcoming in-person seminar in London, along with select European dates, for "A New 3D Framework". These exclusive events will explore the latest innovations in integrating risk, return, and sustainability into investment strategies.
Continuing our commitment to delivering cutting-edge ESG insights, we’ve conducted new research to coincide with World Waste Week, focusing on waste generation intensity. Additionally, we examine the ESG impact and associated tracking error trade-offs for Article 6, 8, and 9 funds, providing analysis for investors navigating SFDR classifications.
We’re also pleased to announce that WHEB, a long-term partner of Impact Cubed since 2019, has successfully added the Sustainability Impact label to their £670 million sustainability fund.

Understanding?ESG Factor Performance and Tracking Error Trade-Offs Across SFDR Classifications
领英推荐
SFDR has become a cornerstone for guiding investors toward funds that supposedly align with their values. But how do these classifications impact the actual environmental and social performance of these funds?
Our factor returns research continues - this time to coincide with world waste week?we analysed top and bottom quintile baskets based on their waste generation intensity; and found that the basket with lower waste output outperformed their higher waste peers by an annualised rate of over 2% (Information Ratio 0.34).
Led by Head of Investment Solutions Aston Chan , we set out to assess how 11 individual sustainability factors could influence the risk and return characteristics of a fund's performance.?
