New in 2024
?Happy New Year.
?Forbes Magazine identified 5 business challenges in 2024 affected by the following: economy, AI, labor market, international conflicts, and corporate speech and public opinion. These and other moving parts and trends will require major strategic planning updates, including how companies manage their workforce and talk to their customers. As a marketing and branding specialist, I see change as inevitable and necessary for success. Two key aspects of preparedness that will continue to impact brands, organizations, and individuals this year involve improving operational efficiency and team performance and culture.
?Effective marketing helps brands stay competitive and win. Organizations are required to update their strategic plan, create a compelling brand narrative, and implement tactics efficiently without breaking the bank. Additionally with AI and other new technologies, companies will adopt new professional people development programs for training, coaching, and upgrading the workforce because many organizations are still recovering from the shift to remote and hybrid working models and they seek to maintain or possibly rekindle the energy and enthusiasm of a winning team culture.
?To address these needs, I have aligned with new partners to better serve clients and their teams. In addition to brand development and strategic planning which I continue to provide my clients directly, I’ve joined forces with an East Coast agency and co-founded a company designed to provide greater efficiencies and support for clients on limited budgets. It’s called Emergent Worldwide.
?Using a fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) model, Emergent Worldwide creates the right course of action for emerging brands, companies in transition, and those looking to compete domestically or internationally. We offer strategic planning, branding, marketing materials, web development, and video production services all based on our client’s unique story and brand narrative. I’m co-founder with James Kwon, CEO of Digital Agency Figments in Rhode Island. My role is brand development and strategic planning.
?My other new partner is I Have the Power (IHTP) which believes better people get better results. IHTP is a full-service, personal, and corporate training and development firm. We offer operational and sales training programs, leadership coaching, and customized workshops covering a wide range of topics designed to help people develop behavioral intelligence so that the changes they make will last. All of the training is provided through a system, set of tools, products and services based on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). For more than 20 years IHTP has touched the lives of people in over 80 countries. Clients include Pfizer, REMAX, Bosch, Porsche, and Bayer. I am the International Partner USA.
