It has been 22 years since the September 11 tragedy. Thinking back, I will never forget how everyone — first responders, neighbors and colleagues — rallied to work, comfort, and support each other.

That generosity of spirit and goodwill is still alive and well today. It spills into how my colleagues and I remember those we lost at Accenture, how we all acknowledge the family and loved ones left behind by the tragedy, and how we honor the heroes who helped us heal.

We see it as people gather and reflect at the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, whose creation and soon-to-be-completed Visitor Education Center were supported by 埃森哲 and Accenture Federal Services . We also see it in our communities, where so many are taking part in today’s National Day of Service to volunteer and give back where they live, work and go to school.

We have learned that we are stronger and more resilient when we come together, and together we can make a real difference in our community and in our world. That undeniable generosity of spirit and goodwill we felt that day still shines bright — as does our future.
