Tip #1?Download AutoCAD?(trial version) from the Autodesk Website.?

Tip #2 Choose the suitable version and application based on your computer specifications (examples:?AutoCAD 2022, Win 32/64, Mac, etc.)?

?Now, get yourself comfortable with some basic commands. Here are some which backed me up in my learning.

1. PL - creates a polyline. Polylines are line segments that are joined together.?
2. POL - creates a polygon with N sides. You can choose any N value between 3 to 1024.?
3. F - Fillet: adds rounded corners to sharp edges.
4. CHA - Chamfer: adds slant edges to the sharp corners.
5. SC - Scales the selected object by a specified scaling factor.
6. TR - trims a line or circle.
7. F8 - toggle Ortho mode. When it's On, only horizontal and vertical straight lines can be drawn.?
8. F3 - toggle Object Snap mode. Allows you to select points on the existing objects.?
9. F9 - Snap mode. This key will make a snap grid on or off. Grids are the rectangular pattern of dot-like structure in AutoCAD that covers the entire XY plane of the user coordinate system.
