NEVER STAY WHERE YOUR PRESENCE IS NOT VLAUED

This weekend, for Fourth of July, ‘Freedom’ Day…I bought a ticket to Denver 2 hours before it was to leave Austin. 

It was a super last min, choice. 

I just felt this overwhelming need to “GET OUT” of town. My world, felt to me like a cage. 

I knew I needed a new perspective, I needed to see something I was grappling with from a new angel. 

So, I jumped on a plane at 8 pm on Friday, and a dear friend of 26 years picked me up in Denver and we drove to Vail. 

Funny, how just a drive, in the mountains, going down and up to 10,000 feet and beyond, seeing up the mountain and down the valley, creates a new perspective in my current personal challenges. 

As we headed into Vail Village on July 4th, and sat next to a beautiful pool, seeing the families of Americans from around the Country, there for one reason - relax and celebration. 

I was reminded of a quote a mentor of mine said ‘Never Stay Where Your Presence is Not Valued’.

This Quote, popped into my head, while I was sitting by that pool, in between two mountains. 

THAT IS THE ANSWER! 

‘Never Stay Where Your Presence is NOT Valued’

You see, there are a few steps before this quote you have to truly ‘get’

1. You must see yourself, as valuable. NO ONE WILL TELL YOU THIS, or at least enough to believe it. You must own this. 
2. You must give value. As Jim Rohn said ‘You are Paid For Your Value in the MarketPlace’ - You must show your value to your group, segment, audience. 
3. You must then SEE when that group, that audience, that coach, that consultant, does NOT see your value. 
4. Once you SEE, you must act. 

It is imperative that you see the two before the third or the fourth. 

Taking time to reflect, before you act. Take a moment to SEE the truth of the situation, not your emotional response, will give you the Power and Ultimately, give you the ability to always be in situations, where you are valued, and you value others. 

Be YOU! Be REAL! BE THE BOSS OF YOUR LIFE!
