So, lets dive in:


CRUX - Social Selling & Influence:

We've had a great few months that has seen us move into new geographic area and sectors with our Social Selling & Influence, business transformation programme.

This month has seen us wrap up with a marine organisation, a structural engineering organisation, a company that focus on motivational speaking and start a big programme with a leading company in the lightening protection and height safety space as we as start a new cohort with an existing client who had returned for ore training with new team members.

Our learning this year, referrals are beautiful, inbound is delightful, recommendations are incredible but there is something special about a previous client coming back for more...

The theme of this edition of the Newsletter is qualification as this month we announced some big news.

Crux are partnered with DLA Ignite and on Friday 6th May 2022, we launched the world’s first formal and accredited qualification in Social Selling on our live stream show, the Digital Download.

We ere joined by?Patrick Joiner, Managing Director of the Institute of Sales Professionals, who opened by saying:

“What brings us to working with DLA Ignite as you said, you’ve been working for a long time now developing a very strong Social Selling Programme and what we recognise is that it was a trend in any case, but the last 2 years of lockdown has absolutely catapulted us into the era of Digital Selling and it is a skill set that many Sales people are still grappling with. and maybe haven’t fully mastered.”??

Patrick went on to say:

“And what is clear, all the research is telling us, is that more and more buyers are making their purchasing decisions entirely digitally, are shortlisting potential suppliers digitally, they are identifying potential solutions digitally and unless as Sales professionals we have a professional presence in the digital space, we are probably going to missing out on a lot of business.”

I am a Fellow of the?Institute of Sales Professionals?(F.ISP) and I'm thrilled that the recognition of the importance of Digital and Social skills is now in place and there is now a mechanism for the modern Sales professional to receive a formal qualification in Social Selling.

The leading global sales institute is now backing Social Selling and have backed our programme.

Crux partnered with DLA ignite to bring you the only accredited Social Selling programme available in the world.

In the previous edition of this Newsletter we announced that Tracy Borreson was joining us as a Social Selling & influence associate in Canada. Tracy is doing really well in her training and is now preparing her planning on taking our brand of Social Selling & Influence training and coaching this into her markets.

Watch this space for exciting news on further expansion with Crux set to announce our first associate in America...news to come.

THE CRUX CAST

On March 19th 2020 we started The Crux Cast.

A podcast designed to give real people a platform to share their story.

A glimpse behind the CV and the profile, into the life, thoughts and hopes of the real person.

We had some amazing guests along the way and produced 62 episodes, ending on May 13th 2021 with?Chris West?from?Optimus Plus (Aberdeen) Ltd.

We took a break to focus on setting up some live shows but we always wanted to Crux Cast back.

This month, to the very week, one full year later we came back but this time its live!

Our first guest a year on was the brillaint?Jess Flack - FHEA?who among other things is the Commissioner for Skills Development for Essex County Council.?

It was great to bring Crux Cast back in a new Live format - here is the Link to Crux Cast #63 with Jess Flack, stand by for more to come (one of the future edition might be with you!)

The Social Selling THUNK - Our Social Selling & Influence comic book and videos!

This month saw us catch up with Jason the MD, John the Head of Sales and Jamie the head of marketing for yet another insightful 'fly on the wall' view into their painful sales and marketing activity....be warned, this is setting 11 on the cringe factor!

We also launched Volume 4 of the Social Selling THUNK! our cartoon series devoted to Social Selling and Social Media for businesses...
