Many a time in life we seek out second opinions. It has become a way of life, right through to how we speak to as many friends as possible to 'confirm' our thoughts or actions on something. In fact, it has become such a way of life that sites like Amazon and Ebay are based around this ethos, showing us the cost and quality of items compared to each other without us having to do the double checking elsewhere.
This way of thinking should be no different in business, especially for your energy purchasing.
We, as the energy consultant industry, are told frequently 'we already have that sorted' or 'we are fine, we use a consultant'.
Whilst this is fine, and may indeed be the case, it never hurts to have a second opinion.
As with everything, it is always worth double checking. The worst outcome is you have reassurance nothing can be improved, and you/your consultant are already doing the best job possible. On the flip side however, a simple second opinion review could identify that significant savings and/or improvements can be established!
