Never Forget...

Never Forget...

It's been 23 years and it's still as vivid in my mind, as it was that Tuesday Morning, September 11th, 2001. Watching those scenes and the aftermath never gets any easier.

I remember traveling to NYC and visiting Ground Zero and watching the construction in 2009. Standing there in disbelief, the memories came flooding back.

Then being hired by 甲骨文 in 2015 and remembering the name: Todd Beamer, and learning of his and the rest of the Heroes on Flight #93 and their heroism, brought a whole new sense of pride for me.

Traveling back to NYC in 2018, as an 甲骨文 employee and visiting the 9/11 Memorial for the first time was extremely emotional for me. I sat there for four hours looking at the images and listening the recordings.

I've traveled back to NYC in 2019 and again in 2021. Each time, visiting the 9/11 Memorial and paying my respects. It's NEVER gotten any easier for me to visit the 9/11 Memorial but it's a non-negotiable for me whenever I'm in NYC.

I'm hoping the Federal Government makes this a National Holiday, to honor all those who lost their lives and to honor all the heroes who fought back and to keep our Nation safe from this ever happening again.

God Bless the families and friends who lost loved ones that Day and God Bless the United States of America.

We will NEVER FORGET...
