"Never forget the dream"

Jack Ma recently stepped away from Alibaba, where he had held the Chairman’s role for the past year, after handing the CEO torch to Daniel Zhang a little over a year ago. Notwithstanding his wealth and fame, Jack presents as a pretty humble guy. His origins story is all about perseverance and grit. The best thing to ever happen to Jack were the rejections, because they resulted in his starting Alibaba and changing the world.

Alibaba recently posted a video of Jack going back to the proverbial garage where they started Alibaba. They literally ate and slept there, working shoulder-to-shoulder to create the company. His #1 piece of advice? “Never forget the Dream”.
