The never ending text – how audiences keep stories alive

The never ending text – how audiences keep stories alive

My World Book Day blog post for Armadillo Magazine explores how the process of telling a story never comes to an end. And how the audience are a vital part of creating the story. The post describes how traditional stories have undergone long journies, and looks at one of my most loved stories 'The King with Dirty Feet'. It has had many incarnations, from animation to app, from performance to picture book (Otter-Barry Books 2021) The story has just come out in a new paperback edition with beautiful illustrations by Rhiannon Sanderson. Happy World Book Day!
