Never Diet Again

Weight gain is a problem and Covid lockdowns haven't helped. Experts observe you gain about 2.2lbs (1kg) per year of marriage. How much do you want to reverse that trend?

  • If you have tried to diet you know that doesn't work because the weight returns and more. Others spend their money on food made by someone that doesn't know your lifestyle. You pay the money for a diet that is temporary. The problem hasn't been solved if you can believe the diet promoters.

Well yes the problem has always had a solution. Exercise and eat properly.

Exercise -That's easier said than done. I don't like exercising by myself, it's too early, the gym is shut, running late I'll go tomorrow, I need to lose some weight before I go to a gym.

Eat Properly -I eat salads, don't eat breakfast, or skip lunch, I'm not stopping drinking, I eat reasonably well and if I go on a diet I have to eat rabbit food all the time.

Story: My friend Loz suffers from MS (for you it may just be overweight or diabetes). Stem Cell surgery bought her back from the abyss (in a wheelchair unable to talk prior to the surgery). Loz is now leading a relatively normal life with carers a few days and some mobility issues. Nothing wrong with her wit and riveting conversation though. Then I noticed the drugs she had been prescribed for another medical issue was stacking the weight on. This was clearly upsetting to her as Loz had no control. She couldn’t and wouldn’t go to a gym as the MS would ensure she didn’t have the energy to drive home. Loz knew what we did with exercise and nutrition so she said “I need to try this to see if it will work for me because I'm going backwards”. Being mindful we needed to be at the top of our game in designing a program and monitoring Loz we got started. Victoria, Loz’s Personal Trainer had an extensive consultation with her and put together a 5 day per week workout program (Victoria even made Loz a custom workout video because of her MS challenges) the calorie counter and The Food Cruncher are the nutritional aids then have assisted Loz in making her own nutritional adjustments. Where we are in Loz's story is why I love this business. Loz is approaching her target weight, she is walking upright, she is more flexible and stable on her feet, the motorised scooter and walker are now in the spare room and her life is on a whole new path. Loz will soon pay off her new Sunday best shoes that go with her new dress and jacket so she can attend our MS event next month as a guest speaker. I couldn’t be more proud than calling Loz my friend and I would love more Loz stories.
