Never compromise your faith

Colossians 2:20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:

This reminds me of a parent saying to a child, 'Well... if Johnny jumped off a bridge, would you jump as well!?!' Just because the world says it's right, doesn't mean we have to agree and follow. God gave us a book to live by and follow. There are rules the world sets up that are in alignment with God's word and those are great to live by. But rules that are designed to promote agendas, special interest goals, or anything that is in contrast with our faith and God's word should not be part of our lives. Just because someone else wants to jump off a bridge, doesn't mean we have to follow. We can try to stop them, show them a better option, share our faith, but no matter what... our faith should not be compromised. Don't follow others 'off a bridge', never compromise your faith and have a blessed day!
