Never before have I been a part of something like this. Joel Comm and I started this Bad Crypto Podcast one month ago today. And it is taking off like a rocket. ??
30 days ago, we decided to teach others as we learned about cryptocurrencies and began to understand the blockchain and its impact on technology.
We launched The Bad Crypto Podcast on July 18th, 2017.
I made a comment to Joel on FB messenger...
Immediately we took action. We launched the first episode on July 18th and since then, we've recorded 11 episodes. We've grown audiences on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
We've received over 50 reviews on iTunes and over 30 on our Facebook page.
Now, one month in, during those first 30 days, we had over 55,000 downloads and subscribers.
We are the #1 podcast on cryptocurrency, bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, fintech, and blockchain on iTunes.
We are ranked in the top 10 investing podcasts worldwide on iTunes.
We are ranked in the top 50 business podcasts worldwide on iTunes.
We had our first sponsorship with a Stellar Lumens giveaway.
We've had numerous companies reach out for marketing assistance.
We have our own private jet now.
Ok, we don't have our own private jet, yet!
But, who would have thought in 30 days that we'd have over 50,000 downloads of a brand new show?
We are so grateful for our fans. Most of which whom had no idea of who Joel or I was before Bad Crypto. It also shows that good content is king. You can rise above the noise if your content is solid.
If you decide to tune into The Bad Crypto Podcast, start at the beginning as we are a serial show where we build on each week's lesson.

This kind of success isn't exclusive to only Joel and I. Anyone can take the bull by the horns and create something.
Many people get analysis paralysis and become immobile. Sometimes you just have a gut instinct, you make a decision, go fast, and iterate along the way.
- What are you passionate about?
- What do you want to learn or teach others?
- What kind of business do you want to build?
- What kind of art do you want to create?
- What is your gift to the world?
We are only here for such a small blink in time. Don't worry about what other people think. Don't spend time hating others because they belief or think differently than you.
Focus on what you can do, and ACT. Do something!
There are too many people out there who complain about others, yet don't do much except bitch.
You were put on this Earth to go out and make a dent in the universe.
Sometimes, the sheer act of doing will open up doors that you didn't think were possible.
Go forth and conquer. And stay bad.

6 年Just started listening to this and there are three really good things about it: 1. Production/sound quality is excellent. (I listen in my car so it has to be!) 2. Delivery is clear and concise. 3. Content is fresh and relevant. Keep it going.

7 年I think what you guys mentioned about creating value (re: the black-hat phone-hacker azzhole) resonates x100 w/ why you're seeing such success -- fantastic brain food and a terrific stream of content from you two. Keep it up, duders! :)
