Never Argue with Idiots

By the title, I know people are probably wondering why I would say such a demeaning thing about someone. However, those words came from a quote by Mark Twain. I am not in the business of using adjectives such as stupid to describe someone. I like to substitute words such as negative people, complainers or haters in the place of stupid people.
Fact: stupid people are there, around?you, but be careful because they will steal your time and drag you down. So whenever you’re dealing with a difficult or stupid person, remember you may not be able to control all the things people do to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. You can decide not to let their actions and opinions invade your heart and mind. And above all, you can decide whom to walk beside into tomorrow, and whom to leave behind today.
It’s time… Stop letting people drag you into needless arguments. — Never waste your time trying to explain yourself to people who have proven that they are committed to misunderstanding you. And don’t define your intelligence or self-worth by the number of arguments you have won, but by the number of times you have said, “This needless nonsense is not worth my time!” Stop letting people drown you with their negativity and their pretend of been kind people. — Positivity is a choice and not a simple word people say it. Choose wisely. Be smart enough to walk away from the negativity around you… it is never worth your while, ever.
Stop letting people take advantage of you. — Sometimes people don’t notice the things we do for them until we stop doing them. This is NOT right! Realize this. You deserve better. You deserve to be with people who make you smile.
Life is too amazing to waste arguing with people that add no value to our life. Remember, we can never get back lost time spent in an unnecessary conflict.

I was writing a post to talk about this exact subject, but wanted to have an image to go with this quote I remember from Mark Twain. A quick google search and I saw one I loved....and I was happy to discover that someone has already written a LinkedIn article on the topic!! The "Dopamine dealer of LinkedIn?".....sign me up for that!! Great stuff Joshua. I believe you and I are kindred spirits and will be engaging quite a bit over the years to come!
