Nevada Celebrates Heart Month

The staff of Nevada's Center, which cares for everyone from families with a prenatal diagnosis to adults born with congenital heart disease, wishes everyone a special happy Heart Month.

In 2022, our center performed more than 100,000 office and hospital noninvasive tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, event detectors, treadmills, MRIs, CAT scans, and others; close to 40,000 outpatient and inpatient contacts, and approximately 1,000 hospital invasive procedures, including interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and surgeries, all with outstanding results. Now, Harry Reid International Airport is a gateway for patients arriving here, instead of leaving, for heart care.

In all, these numbers equate to Nevada's Congenital Heart Program being among the largest and most successful centers in the United States. From all our hearts, we thank everyone for trusting us to care for you.
