When we think of neutral, we often think of a lack of specific characteristics or the inability to have a particular stance. Usually, we don’t equate neutral with a sense of power and agency. However, when shifting our emotions to more regenerative states for improved vitality, clarity, and focus, neutral can be a powerful force.?

In the last BHW issue (Understanding the "E" in Emotions), we discussed how the biological duration of an uncomfortable emotion (energy-depleting emotion) is 90 seconds maximum (1). After the embodied experience of this 90-second emotion,?we are now in the driver’s seat to keep playing this same thought-feeling loop over and over, or we can choose a new one.?
