I’ve had a sign on my wall for years—probably since before COVID. It says, “Decisions from fear are probably wrong.” Looking back, my worst choices were the ones where I ignored that advice.
The world feels dark right now. A lot of people are making decisions from a place of scarcity, instability, and fear. We feel isolated, uncertain, and overwhelmed by the unknown. And when fear takes over, it’s hard to see a better path forward.
And when everything feels uncertain, the way we connect with others matters more than ever.

Don't get me wrong. Fear is a powerful and useful emotion. It keeps us alert, helps us assess risk, and sometimes even pushes us to act. The challenge is when we get lost in it and see no way out.
