How much info can you cram into 60 seconds?
I’ve heard a lot of information that means absolutely nothing to me – acronyms, jargon, buzz words, or it all being about the business and not their customer.
And guess what, it turns me right off, or I zone out.
How about you?
Let me ask the question another way.
How much info can you cram into 60 seconds that piques my interest so that I want to find out more, and book a follow up longer call?
Because the reality is you can’t say a lot in 60 seconds, but you can say just enough.
As a business owner we’re all being pulled in so many directions each day, our time and attention span is short.
We know for social media engagement you’ve got to capture a watcher’s attention in the first few seconds – 60 seconds feels like a lifetime.
For me there are six essential elements to feature in a 60 second pitch.
1)????? Who you are – your name, your business and what it is that you do.
2)????? Who you help
3)????? What makes you unique
4)????? Who you are looking for connections to
5)????? A reminder of who you are

6)????? A catch phrase that makes you memorable
Once you’ve got the essentials nailed, I encourage you to switch the order around to keep your ‘pitch ‘fresh.
If you’ve been networking in a group for a while I have no doubt, there are businesses that read the same pitch every time.
I bet you switch off.
Having a great prepared pitch doesn’t mean you have to deliver a robotic pitch.
Quite the opposite.
If you know what you want to say rather than be thinking of the words, you can focus on the deliver.
I teach business owners how to create great pitches in my Perfect Your Pitch Bootcamp.
