Networking, Speaking Events & More
We have been very busy over the last couple of months but we are not complaining. What we love so much about being in the commercial real estate industry is the fact that we get to be involved in so many areas of the business, including the networking, guest speaking and presentations, and the happy hours that keep us all smiling.
As you know, we have been distributing our exclusive monthly Bizletter to our friends, clients and colleagues and we always want to share just a little bit with you here too. If you want to subscribe to our main Bizletter, just click here and scroll to the bottom of our home page to subscribe.
REATA has been busy of late!? We have so many great opportunities for our agents to give back to the community, as well as all the great networking opportunities that we have been a part of. Here is just a quick recap of some of these incredible highlights:
Bob Gibbons, SIOR, CCIM and Real Estate Tenant Advocate, Kristi McCampbell recently held an accredited continuing education course for residential agents entitled “Earn More Income Through Your Existing Relationships” at Caddo Office Reimagined in Flower Mound.?(cover photo) Allegiance Title was a most welcome sponsor and we had a wonderful turnout.
As a published author, our broker Bob has been on a speaking event tour lately to present to a variety of different organizations about commercial real estate, the industry and some of his experiences to help other agents. Just recently, Bob also was a guest presenter to the RIAOC (Realty Investment Association of California) regarding 'Effective Marketing in Distressed Times".? He outlined several points including using your referral network; online marketing; hand-written correspondence; as well as other activities. And just last week, Bob was on the Real Estate Panel at the Business Navigator event in Plano, Texas, where he spoke on the impact of "Going Back to the Office" and whether the CRE industry is in trouble. What are your thoughts?
Jan Gibbons attended the joint CREW Dallas and CREW Fort Worth chapters luncheon held at Lone Star Park (Commercial Real Estate Women).?The speaker was a past CREW President from Orlando Florida that talked about her journey and how CREW played such a big part in it.?And we don't just stop at the luncheons, REATA also held our own Happy Hour at District Dallas inviting some new networking partners to get to know each other a bit better. Our broker, Bob Gibbons and President, Jan Gibbons also attended the Business Navigators Happy Hour where great networking occurred with the servant leadership attitude in full swing.

Meantime, showings must go on. Office showings are preferred this time of year - not so much the un-air-conditioned industrial showings, but you can guess which ones are more common these days with hybrid working!
If you are in the Plano, DFW area and would ever like to meet with us to discuss any commercial real estate opportunities, collaboration projects or speaking opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
