Networking
Networking is an art. It allows your imagination to flourish, if used on a right canvas. It gives you freedom to choose the colours and gives wings to your ideas and thoughts. I like this form, since it moves you away from monotony and has a lot of dynamism in place. It allows your speed of thought to gallop.
I have used networking often to help people, who are looking for jobs or assistance. I feel that as professionals, we have a bigger role to play rather than just doing our function in the role we are entrusted with. In our day to day work life, we often come across problems, where a little help from an expert or a person with larger resource than us, could be of great help. In a similar way, we could also be ‘that’ help for others. 'Giving' is a great deed, that imparts satisfaction and solace. There are subtle ways of giving that would not consume a great resource of yours or investment of time. Such acts of benevolence have often been an energy capsule for me.
Experience brings wisdom and enables problem solving become easier and quicker. Availability of experience at hand, is a challenge. This is what all of us have been searching for, in our day to day life, in organisations and communities. The digital world through tools like Linkedin, What’s app and similar other platforms, has offered a choice for us to utilize availability of experience anywhere in the world at a click of a button, to enable connectivity. Networking, as a result, plays an important role. There have been multiple cases where problem solving occurs over a short introduction and interaction through networked communities - the setting of context is important.
Networking is a great tool to use in today's complex world to make it simple.
