I am an Ambivert, often get into my cocoon but i can also become that very active, confident and go-to person with my set of people.Sometimes you do not realise how you don so many caps without your own knowledge. In a world that seems to value extroverted abilities like outgoing personalities, introverts may feel at a loss, while being comfortable about it. However, introverts possess their own set of strengths that can lead to a very meaningful and authentic networking. Some of them that i can think of are:
For Starters:
Doing a little prep about the event/meet goes a long way. Best is to have a few questions in your mind as starters for yo out during the initial discomfort of starting a conversation. Take advantage of your strengths as a super listener ( Introverts by default) and ask about the other person's professional journey, their passions, or their insights on industry trends. Active listening is a skill introverts excel at, so use it to your advantage.
Find Your Networking Comfort Zone:
Recognize that not all networking methods will work for you. Experiment with different approaches to find what feels most comfortable and authentic for you. Whether it's coffee meetings, online forums, or industry conferences, choose the methods that align with your strengths and do not miss on taking one of your friend along ( Worst-case you have them) ??
