Networking & Giving: The Wisconsin Women in Lodging Celebrate the Holiday Season

The Wisconsin Women in Lodging (WWIL) recently wrapped up a successful year of events with a Holiday Happy Hour held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield on December 19. Despite a winter storm, a wonderful group of women and supportive men gathered to celebrate the season together.

The event was expertly coordinated by Monica Goeke, CAE , Heather Harmeyer , and Ann Marie Hess, CMP . Their combined efforts ensured a memorable evening filled with networking and holiday cheer for all attendees.

In the spirit of giving, attendees donated clothing to the Bottomless Closet at the Milwaukee Women’s Shelter and the Salvation Army. They also spread warmth and joy to homebound seniors by decorating cards and writing heartfelt messages.

Guests enjoyed delicious snacks, received gifts, and participated in exciting giveaways. Event sponsor Kentwood Commerical Interiors contributed a state-of-the-art desk lamp, and Visit Brookfield provided items from local businesses, including Magnolia Soap Co., Towne Place Suites, and The Salt Spa.

Registration is open for the group's first event in 2025, a lunch held at The American Club on January 22 in conjunction with Lodging Innsights Kohler. Visit the event page to learn more and register.
