Networking, is the buzzword we are hearing in recent times. Everyone says networking is so important. However only some people are natural networkers, some struggle to make an even initial conversation. But some people like me are Network builders, I am bad at networking but I can build networks.

Networking mostly is considered useful for getting jobs or internships or something that can help in the profession. Today I want to share something different but two extraordinary stories that happened in one of the Alumni Networks that I built.
1) There was a guy who was on the death bed with platelet insufficiency and he has a rare blood group. Unfortunately, due to the COVID crisis, there was a severe scarcity of blood everywhere in India and he lost hope in his life. Nevertheless we gave a final try in our network, an alumnus in our group with the same blood group dared, even after bashings from the police (Locked down effect) and gave his blood. Patient survived. It's a miracle but happened only because of the network.
2) Another girl, who was tortured by her mother-in-law and also has to take care of her two small kids. She has zero time to look for herself and also to look for jobs. She lost hope in life. We got to know about her situation and immediately we formed Grievance Redressal Council in our network, we counseled her and found a job immediately. She was crying out of happiness for the help she received. It happened only because of our network.
When I say building networks, we do not use any fancy or expensive platforms we use only Facebook or Whatsapp.
Why am I writing this article? This is to inform you all about the opportunities you have at your fingertips when you start building networks. It will not only help you, but it will also help many others.
You can start building your Alumni networks first and then move to bigger professional networks. Alumni networks have a strong emotion that helps you to easily bond immediately without having much of an Ego barrier.
