Networking is not a new concept, and there are many ways to network.
There are 2 types of Networks.
- Your inner circle: defined as people related to your current living and business circles.
- Your outer circle: defined as people outside of your direct living and business circles.
- After 2 years moving to a new place you should be expanding your outer circle by at least 1-2 people per month your entire life. These 1-2 people a month are persons where both of you know what the other does and how they behave. This could mean that you need to network with 10-20 people a month who is not part of your current world.
What separates those who build strong networks from those that just reach out to people when they need something? Two things: IQ and EQ. That individual knows the benefit of learning from others and they care.
Should you find a person with a large network of people you have struck gold!
