The human brain loves surprises. Why not reward our prospects with a surprise extra in our story??An example?

I got started in this network marketing business just eight months ago. Why? Because I wanted an extra check to help me pay my bills. Did I succeed? Yes. Now my monthly bonus checks pay for my credit cards and part of my mortgage. But, I didn't read the fine print.?

Yes, I just scanned the details.

The fine print said that if I met certain minimums, I could qualify for a trip to Hawaii. So when I got the Hawaii tickets in the mail, I was shocked. A free holiday? Just what I need. I think you would love a free holiday also.

That was an easy story to tell.

Just think of an extra benefit and add that surprise to our mini-story.

How to make a good offer

Simple.

  1. Make the offer clear (easy to understand).
  2. Simple (just one thing).

Here is an example from Las Vegas. I didn't qualify for the free meal.

How about some one-sentence offer examples? Ready?

  • Drink this shake for breakfast to lose weight fast.
  • Get a discount on your electricity bill by using us for your billing.
  • Join now so you can get your first bonus check next Thursday.
  • Use this cream to make your wrinkles disappear.
  • Always get a better deal by using our travel service.
  • Earn a free car with us and make your neighbors jealous.

Did you feel it? Most people will make a decision after hearing our offer. This is powerful.

Big Al: “How much time do you spend watching Netflix every day?”

Distributor: “About two hours.”

Big Al: “Why so much time?”

Distributor: “It’s not expensive. Only $20 a month.”

Big Al: “How much is your time worth an hour?”

Distributor: “About $25 an hour. Why?”

<Silence>

<More silence>

Distributor: “Oh. Yeah. Netflix is pretty expensive, isn’t it?”
