The power of the hook

Prospects with wrinkles will want to read more. They are curious about what happens next.
Opening with a strong hook gets our prospects to stop what they are thinking, and focus on what we are about to say next. That is what we want.
Since human minds can have only one thought at a time, we want our message to be the thought our prospects pay attention to.
