Network Marketing Cult or Business Opportunity

Network Marketing has a bad vibe to some people because of how it was presented to them or maybe they joined the wrong team and it felt like a job instead of something they could get behind and grow.
It is a business where you get to be all you and bring your personality to the table not become a copy of someone else you are following. It happens a lot in the industry and it is not necessary to be anyone else but yourself.
Most people who join network marketing rarely realized they need to build their business around themselves and not the products of a company simply because if that company closes their business or the network marketing side of the entity they will immediately lose their check.
Learning how to gain people’s attention is a learned skill that most people leave out of their business. In network marketing, the easy button comes from the fact you don’t have to invent a product, hire the staff to run the business, figure out the marketing, and take pictures of the products. All of that part of the business is done for you with a very low start-up process. All you had to do was invest in your first set of products and learn how to talk about them which freaks people out.

You can make a lot of money if you take the time to learn a few skills. The majority of people in network marketing rarely make money. The majority of people who go into used car sales are not going to kill it, as a matter of fact, the majority of people who start any business or franchise don’t knock it out of the park. Fifty percent of businesses will fail within the first five years.
It’s pretty consistent with the statistics in terms of earnings when it comes to network marketing, for whatever reason people point to the documentaries on TV/ Youtube that are set up to just bash network marketing.
Some people feel like it’s very cultlike that there are these rituals and expectations and you have to subscribe to a language you have to use and there are certain team members look or behaviors you have to do. Any MLM or network marketing company has distributors (who are making money) and customers (who enjoy the products). All you have to do is show up as yourself – not copy anyone else. The ones who show up consistently are the ones you will see at the top.
Your upline is the person who invited you to the company connection. They can be a good support person, but you are the one who builds your business.
To make money in network marketing you have to do a combination of things #1 you have to sell products and you can’t just sell products to people who are already members or customers. That falls under a true pyramid scheme and (I’m not a lawyer) but to stay out of trouble in order to be legitimate you sell to new customers.
There are really successful leaders who create a sense of community and influence their downline to build a business much as they did. It is not something anyone has to do but people like being connected to a group for support.
Communities attract people to join to be a part of something. The best part of network marketing is the lowest cost to start an actual?business is to buy a kit of less than $300. It is a paint-by-number style where your job is learning to talk to lots of people

They have a website built for you, you don’t have to develop products or test imports, you have access to the products to sell. Many companies do not require you to carry any inventory and you’re allowed to start a business that the IRS approves of.
A lot of people say your upline is being nice to you, and dedicating their time with you is because they make money if you succeed.
That’s what managers/ leaders do, everyone who joins the network marketing organization feels all the love because some leaders can really take a lot of time in your success and pour into you because they want you to do well.
Yes, they want you to succeed because it helps them to succeed, there’s nothing bad about that. It is everyone doing a little to help each other.
You get to find what makes you feel good building your business. Using social media or in person. Whatever you enjoy doing the most. Me personally I have used social media to connect to a large group of people.
The one thing I always tell people they must do is to fall in love with the products themselves and talk about their own personal results. Once people put their own stamp of approval on something and share their own personal story it is not cold selling, It is heart selling with experience. Don’t just regurgitate what everyone else is saying about the products.
See if the products and company are a good fit for you. 50% of the people who start a business will not commit to what it takes to build a big business. However, people are more likely to be good customers much longer. I suggest you start there.
