Network Administrator required near Hannover

For our client near Hannover we are looking for a Network Administrator for the following role:

Working as a network expert in the Expertise Family "IT Architecture and Connectivity";

Operate and support the modernization of the current network into a future-proof infrastructure with globally valid concepts, standards and solutions;

Responsibility for network operations at various locations;

Collaborate with the Services Campus Connectivity product team; clarifying and advising customers' requirements; design and evaluate solutions based on network standards;

Ensuring the requirements for IT security in the network area; procure, configure, and install network components;

Documentation and inventory of network components;

Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field; Several years of expertise in the field of network infrastructure;

A holistic understanding of IT system landscapes, especially networks;

Knowledge of common solutions and vendors in the IT infrastructure sectors, preferably CISCO and HP;

Experience in the field of IT project management; independent and goal-oriented way of working;

Enjoyment of the challenge of solving technical problems in a future-oriented manner;

Good to very good German and English skills;
