Netflix

This is one article that I am going to post about this company that I wrote a bit about yesterday and I apologize for not writing this earlier since I like to normally write early in the mornings but some things have come up. So I will just write about this company with the time that I have right now. It has to do with Netflix and how it has gotten to where it is right now because I do remember that it was a mail order company, movie company in which it rented out movies to customers by mail from its office instead of a brick and mortar store.

It seem to adopt that business model and it worked for a long while because most customers were really onto that model of renting out movies by mail to customers that it was really a successful business. But years later I would say that it got so successful and was making a whole lot of money that it ended up branching out or evolving out to other parts of their business like shooting movies and TV shows. So I think that it had changed its business model to include doing movies and TV shows.

And I must say that this experiment paid off dividends for the company and their movies and TV shows ended up being big hits that it maybe decided to let go of its movie rental business and turn onto being a full fledge movie and TV studio that shoots and produces TV shows and movies which has grossed in more than $1million dollars making the company very wealthy and I am thinking that maybe this has made other movie and TV studios stand up and take notice as to their presence.

After that, they decided to go into streaming by providing a streaming service for customers where they can stream TV shows and movies for a small fee making it easier for them to access shows and other programming that they may not have time to watch. So providing this service has helped with their bottom line and provided a platform that customers can use in order to get their Netflix fix. So in ending this post, I will say that Netflix's marketing approach worked for them very well in the long run.
