Netaji : A Timeless Legend

Netaji : A Timeless Legend

I encounter hundreds of ‘Aspiring Entrepreneurs’ and ‘Millennial Techies’ in the Business Coaching/Mentoring journey. Apart from case-studies, I always refer to history for deeper learning for 3 simple facts -

1-???Our ancestors had bigger problems to resolve, bigger pandemics to conquer and dreadful economic hardships to handle.

2-????The resources were scarce and the tech was under-developed, yet they thrived against all odds.

3-????Humans were driven by unity of community; unlike a digital tribe staring at their devices and waging wars via keyboards.???

As the old saying goes-

“Tough times make strong men… Strong men bring easy times

Easy times make weak men… Weak men bring tough times”

A personification of the above is a Legend who manifested an impossible dream.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose- A monumental architect of the Indian freedom revolution. The epitome of unfathomable depth, profound knowledge in war strategy and political science, with incredible intelligence and riveting persona.??

As a 15 year old student of Spirituality mentored by Swami Vivekanada and a staunch disciple of Swami Ramkrishna Pramhansa, Subhash Babu rose to be the brightest amongst his 14 siblings.?His spiritual abilities of quick grasping, logical reasoning and deep trance meditation could influence anyone who adheres to his company.?

During his graduation class (B.A in Philosophy), Bose slapped his firangi Professor because he spoke derogatory comments against our motherland. He was detained and arrested for this act, aiming to decipher his notorious nature. Inversely, this incident gave Bose a heroic stance in his campus.?

Furthermore, Bose began openly demonstrating against every signboard of elite gathering which stated “Dogs and Indians not allowed”????

Back then, India was crippled by inferiority complex and injustice across social strata, racism atrocities and display of god complex by the British. Everything seemed dooming down to hopelessness and surrender.

Subhash was triggered and flamed up by such inequality. It ALL started here!

The one and ONLY Indian to shake hands with Adolf Hitler and to share bench with top level Commanders in the Nazi Army Arsenal- Bose Babu mentioned war cries across his underground radio station – “?????? ????? ?????? ??, ?? ???? ?? ?? ?? ???? ???? ???? ?? ????? ???? ?????” (All of this when podcasts weren’t even trending at all

Netaji was majorly influenced by the guerrilla warfare tactics of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and driven by aggressive ideas of Lokmanya Tilak. Bose imbibed Tilak`s strategy and launched a newspaper called ‘Swaraj’ - “?? ?????, ?? ????... ?? ??? ?????? ?? ???? ??, ???? ???? ?? ??? ?? ??? ???... ?? ?? ??? ????? ???? ???????, ?? ??? ???? ???? ??????”

Driven by courage and patriotism of Rani Lakshmibai, Bose formed a ‘Death-Defying-Troop’ called ‘Rani of Jhansi Regiment’ which was an all-women army that incepted in Singapore.

Apart from Captain Lakshmi Sahgal leading the Rani of Jhansi regiment, Netaji also formed 3 amazing commanders for INA- Prem Kumar Sehgal, Gurbak Dhillon and Shanawaz Khan. One imperative anecdote that was comfortably overlooked in your history textbook is an episode called ‘Red Fort Trail 1945’ where the British Government wanted to hang the 3 INA commanders to death in a public viewing. The government-controlled-media created a pompous marketing campaign out of this public hara-kiri.

Such media marketing propaganda backfired to the British; it rippled nationwide waves of sympathy and revolt. Indian citizens flocked the Red Fort with over 5-6 lakh people uncontrolled by merely 4 thousand policemen.

Aggravated citizens with signboards and slogans of “?????????? ?? ?? ?????, ???? - ?????? – ????????” The message was loud and clear, which led the government to submit to the people of India and leave the country. This was a major boost to the dream called ‘AZAAD HIND’?

Today, as we celebrate ??????? ???? (The day of Valour) let us also imbibe the qualities of the Father of Indian Freedom Struggle.

“?????? ?? ???? ????, ????? ????? ??.” - Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.?
