While being one of the energy sources that are part of the plan to reach the global 2050 net-zero goal, #netzero ambitions are also driving the #offshorewind industry forward in many ways.

In today's news on offshoreWIND.biz, ?rsted has teamed up with 维斯塔斯 to procure low-carbon and recycled components for all its future offshore wind projects that will comprise Vestas #windturbines; The UK government announced that it would amend the mandate for Ofgem to include a statutory net-zero duty; and North Star officially named its hybrid-electric powered service operation vessel (SOV) that will be deployed at the 3.6 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm.
