Net Neutrality
In 2015, i attended a conference by GSMA about Telecom Codebook and one of the topics was #Net_Neutrality, and when i raised the question about the trend in many countries (ISP's blocking certain ports & slowing down other specific stamped data packets...etc) and how its being supported by Telecom Regulators & Governments, the speaker told me "Net Neutrality is one of the consumer's (if not human's) rights & we should defend it like what President Obama did for it".
At that time, i was not a big fan of President Obama and to be frank i did not imagine that one day will come and FCC will ever think of voting on killing Net Neutrality in a country like the U.S, so i did not consider it and i never appreciated what the man did at that time.
Time run and today we stand to see the FCC voting to kill the whole Net Neutrality in a very strange and unjustified move !
Irony is; 1 year back EU commission Voted for VoIP & Net neutrality, while FCC in the U.S voted to kill the whole Net Neutrality
