Is Net metering opportunity ready for Ontario?
The Ontario electricity rate keeps increasing. the cost of solar system get cheaper over time. Does Ontario solar energy reach the parity point?
The answer is Yes and No.
For the most of the Time of Use consumers, who are paying 18 to 22 cents/kwh, are ready to enjoy the saving of net metering . However, the consumers whose demand is more than 50kw, are pay much lower rate. the net metering may not suitable to them yet.
PPA (power purchase Agreement) is a easiest way to approach this opportunity. the investor work with the property owner and sell the power to consumer without any front cost of property owner.
Any property owner, investor or sales professional are welcome to this opportunity...
