Had a chance to help my old friend to integrate OMR on his project.
Being a device integration lover, I was very pleased to make this happen even if I had busy schedule. I like challenges.
Apparently, the device Chatsworth OMR ACP100 came to my friend without any SDK and supporting documents. Had to rely on another model's (ACP200 xx) documents and it did mislead the development of the libraries for 2 days.
Finlay, my friend was could get some documents and that made the turning point.
Was able to complete the library that reads the marked positions in any manner and delivered within 3 days. (Worked on one weekend and one night). He was able to integrate it to his project (Golf Club related) and found a issue and was able to fixed it right-away.
Printing details on the per-printed card and databases related works being done by my friend and my library comes into action when the marked card needs to feed into the system.
I have not seen his project and how it works. But I was able to developed a library for him to integrate easily t his project.
Project was success. He did the demonstration to the client.
