.Net Developer (Remote)

.Net Developer sought to work remotely from South Africa as part of a global team of Developers. Our client was founded at the end of the 19th century and has grown exponentially, currently employing over 4500 people in offices located in over 45 countries across 5 continents. Their global footprint and cutting-edge business operations requires state of the art technology, and they are looking for a .Net Developer to join their team to help them fully harness the power of their globally rolled out of ERP System. Responsibilities include analysis, design and development of Desktop applications in .NET WinForm, and SQL Server; detailed system design using common components and the .NET architecture framework; creating technical requirements that satisfy the business needs; and coding using VB.Net, MS SQL. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DevExpress Winform (XtraGrid) components as well as T-SQL (CTE, CROSS APPLY, Function, Stored Procedure, SQL Service Broker). Your knowledge should include TFS /DevOps (CICD, Pipeline, release); .Net 5, multithreading; GITFLOW; REST; WCF; and Web API. It will be a benefit is you are MTA: Software Development Fundamentals certified and DAT201x certified. The role would suit someone with a great team spirit and a sense of initiative, resourcefulness and autonomy. You should be efficient, organised, have good time management skills, and be able to work under pressure occasionally.
