How Nestlé is scaling virtual reality to train employees

Nestlé uses VR to improve employee safety through flexible learning, such as the Girona Pedestrian Safety Training.
Working with VRdirect, Nestlé has implemented a VR training at the Nescafé factory in Girona, Spain. On the company's large premises, this training teaches employees important safety instructions and traffic rules.
HTC reveals new flagship XR headset

HTC VIVE has unveiled its new flagship mixed reality headset, the Vive XR Elite. This device is aimed at consumers, with a professional version planned for release in the future. It comes with a price tag of €1,399.
The Vive XR Elite is powered by a Snapdragon XR2 chip, which is also found in the Meta Quest 2 and Pico 4. As previously reported, the standalone virtual reality headset features four cameras and an RGB depth sensor that enables color pass-through in mixed reality experiences. The device also features a modular design with a removable battery at the back of the head, allowing for a lightweight design.
Quick-charge and hot-swap capabilities ensure that users can continue to use the headset without prolonged interruption, such as during virtual training.
Is Apple focusing on XR in 2023?
According to Bloomberg News , 苹果 is dedicating more of its resources to a new product category: The XR headset, which was planned to be released in spring 2023, is to be revealed at the WWDC conference later in the summer.
Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirms that the release date was pushed back due to software and hardware development delays.
Despite these setbacks, Apple has reportedly already provided the “Apple Reality” device to select developer studios for testing and app development. This is to ensure that the company's “most important product” for 2023 will be ready for release on time.
