Nestlé, under the red flag

Nestlé, under the red flag

In my experience, when the senior management of a multinational company engages in fraud, as in the case of #Nestlé Waters, or the company management retaliates against its #whistleblowers (https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/final-words-food-safety-culture-management-nestl%C3%A9-yasmine-motarjemi/) , there's a problem with its organizational culture.?When employees chose to remain silent in such situations, the corporate culture is definitely unsound.

When the organizational culture is flawed, similar problems of deceit or contamination can occur anywhere in the world or anytime. The company is no longer reliable and should be under the red flag. It needs to be monitored in its totality, not just in the country where the first instance of fraud was detected. This is particularly true when the warning system (whistleblowing system) doesn't work, as I've proved in the Swiss court.?

The repeated instances of Nestlé's #violations, such as the outbreak of enterohaemorrhagic E.coli in the #USA in 2009 and its recurrence in #France in 2022, or the fraud against #consumers of dairy products in #Cameroon that was replicated with #mineralwaters in France show a pattern of mismanagement of #food safety and #quality. The water contamination problems reported in Jordan and Egypt is possibly reoccurring in France https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/nestl%2525C3%2525A9-waters-contaminated-first-time-yasmine-motarjemi-2wvwe/?trackingId=CmQWRKlAacOZi%2B8%2FXXFhVA%3D%3D

?Certainly, if the company had been subject to greater control and monitoring, more problems would have been detected.?

What I'm asserting, and what I've been striving to demonstrate for years, is that Nestlé's organizational culture is deeply flawed and in this way the company poses an international threat. In every country, where Nestlé products are produced or sold, competent authorities need to conduct thorough checks on Nestlé's products and operations.

?The fact that this issue is not being widely reported worldwide is a concern. The media's lack of coverage and the authorities' lack of proactivity are hindering the necessary international action.

?In 2005, a fraud involving infant formula by a local company in China led the Chinese authorities to investigate all brands of formula. It was then that the authorities discovered that Nestlé products did not comply with regulatory standards for micronutrients, particularly iodine.??

Nestlé is one of the world's leading food companies. Although its products are consumed by a relatively small proportion of the world's population, it nevertheless exerts a strong influence on food policies, science, and food standards. As such, its corporate culture is critical to the safeguard of world's health.

Maybe Nestle and Boeing should merge.
