A Nestlé Employee Story
What it’s like to work here
It's a highly diverse environment, both locally and virtually. It's refreshing with different cultural perspectives for topics that one may think is routine. With one of the world′s leading FMCG companies, there's a good pace and broad scope. There are endless possibilities to explore and expand one's abilities.
What it’s like to grow here
I joined Nestlé Nordics as a Logistics Coordinator, back in December 2017, with the responsibility for our Danish warehouse and the Danish co-packing activities. After a year, and thanks to the highly cross-functional environment in Nestlé, my technical and problem-solving skills and approaches were recognized. I was then offered the position as Supply Planner for the Nescafé soluble category. I have held this position for roughly 3 years, with additional responsibilities such as super user, NCE Champion, and plenty of opportunities to participate in various projects. And now to the latest chapter of my journey, I have recently taken the role as DSP & Logistics Development Specialist. My core responsibility is to automate and improve our internal and external processes.
The impact you can have here?
Nestlé′s continuous improvement mindset fits well with my personality. This mindset is quite central for Nestlé. My current role is giving me the opportunity to make a difference here and now, and for the future as well.
Throughout my so far short journey with Nestle, I have had the pleasure to work with supportive and empathic managers. Giving me the creative freedom to influence and resolve tasks, enabling me to grow and make a difference in my area of responsibilities.
