Kathmandu

Chitwan National Park

More than 20 species of snakes like King cobra, Rock python, and starred tortoise, monitor lizards can be seen inside the park. The park is the home of “king of the Jungle” is the Bengal Tiger. Apart from this one-horned rhinoceros and sloth bears, giant elephants and leopards attract the tourists to experience the beauty of the park and spend some time between natural habitats. The park is attached to two villages Sauraha in the east and Meghauli Village in the west which are the main entrance gates to enter the park. Patan
Different people say different names of this city. Some called it a “ handicraft city” and some called it a “ city of the temple” and “city of monasteries”. It is the third-largest city in Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara. The city is well known for its festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statues. The city was designed in the shape of the Buddhist Dharma-Chakra (Wheel of Righteousness). It is surrounded by Asoka Stupas, one at each end of the city and one stupa is present in the middle of the city. More than 1,200 Buddhist monuments of various shapes and sizes are scattered in and around the city. Patan Durbar Square is one of the major attractions of the city.
