NEOM Project: A smart city reflects the Kingdom's 2030 Vision

Most of us read about KSA’s 2030 Vision, as a recap, it is a strategic framework For the Kingdom to accomplish the following:

NEOM project is one of the megaprojects for the kingdom’s vision 2030 that will take place in the northwest of the Tabuk Province.

?NEOM project will cost $500 Billion with a motto of “A futuristic eco-city that is part of Saudi Arabia's pivot to go green”, the project was announced in 2017, and NEOM city is set to cover 26,500 km2. Its first phase of construction is set to be completed by 2025

With connected infrastructure, smart buildings, and mobility, NEOM smart city concept is hailed as a solution to rapid urbanization whilst synchronously improving economic and social potential.

It will work out by aligning digital transformation and sustainability with the kingdom’s Vision 2030 plans, KSA expects NEOM to generate $100 Billion in total GDP by 2030. It will be powered 100% by renewable energy and governed by an independent judicial system to encourage investment in 16 priority industries, including advanced manufacturing, mobility, and biotech.
