Neglected but most useful!

Neglected but most useful!

The headline would make you think why all these subjects are neglected and I might tell you that these subjects are very few people's favourites as students choose subjects which are either useful for their litigation specialization or according to their interests in the judiciary and other competitive exams related to law. I personally love these subjects being a student from a humanities background the love for subjects of social studies is inexplicable.

I have always since my school time enjoyed studying psychology, philosophy and other related subjects. It was very fascinating to see the linkages between different subjects of social sciences where an element of humane understanding is always present. Similarly, these four subjects which are Jurisprudence, Interpretation of statutes, Administrative law and legal ethics and court craft in law school feel very relatable to me in a real sense as these subjects are the summary of law school years of studying I must say.

These subjects will guide any of us for the future times to come when we as a judge or as an advocate or just a disciple of the law will get stuck while interpreting the constitutionality of a particular legislation and then we would link different subjects or thoughts to come to a conclusion or decision where we are jurisprudentially correct. For all this to happen reading these subjects in their entirety is very much needed, multiple readings and revisions are what you need to get the philosophical essence of all these subjects.

Although these subjects will come very later in my semesters, I am making a regular habit to read these magnificent texts to improve my skills such as communication, writing and oratory as these subjects have something in them which can make you a better law person altogether. Linking all these subjects together and writing answers with respect to their essence will take you somewhere in the front where you can be seen differently from your peer groups.

Thanks for reading. Happy law school journey!
