We have been through a step-by-step approach trying to dismantle the wires of negativity with the intention to have a better and happier life when we chase our dreams, realize our potential and unfold the opportunities ahead of us. We passed through 5 stations of Negativity Checks: identifier - criticizer - braker - pauser - visualizer. The technique you are about to learn today is the most difficult. Most people stop at step 5 (visualizer) for a while because the journey is tiring and requires stamina and endurance. But I believe in you and I know you can do it. But will you?

6. Flip 180
Flip 180 is a technique that needs continuous practice. I want you to be stubborn and tenacious facing your negative thoughts. If your negative attitude pushes you to do some negative action, do the opposite instead, then do this opposite over and again. And keep trying until you replace the negative action with a positive habit.
Practical Flipping:
I used this technique helping one of my clients who used to make nasty remarks about her neighbors and coworkers. She was made aware about this terrible habit and we agreed to use and keep using the Flip 180 methodology.
Each time she starts badmouthing others, I stop her to do the opposite action and say positive comments about them.
Her comment “She doesn’t know how to dress, her color selections are horrible” changed to “She has so much courage selecting these vivid colors, it reflects her outgoing style, she just being herself”. In few weeks the changes were so much noticeable.
