Got a message from a friend of mine on Instagram, if you don't know, we're on Instagram doin' this, we're doin' crazy stuff there, asking to talk about negativity as a topic. Man that's such a big topic to unpack. I'm not sure I can do it justice in a minute and whatever this ends up being. Here's my comments, she said, "I'm hearing a lot of people "who go straight to complaining "as oppose to solution-ing the problem "and figuring stuff out" And I get it. There are negative people out there. and there are people who are in a bad spot and they're negative and there are people who refuse to get out of the bad spot negative. Life happens. It can be tough and it can kick us into bad moods. I got little kids eight and five, five and a half, she'd be mad if she knew that. Sorry Scarlet. But when they get in a bad mood I literally grab them and flip them upside down. I'm not joking. I grab them and I flip them upside down and I start tickling them and sometimes they kick out and then they try to go back. And I'm just kinda like, "nope, nope we're not going back." And we just kinda move away from the negativity. Physically move. I think there's a part to that, I think there's a way we can help our friends and our coworkers and our spouses who get frustrated and get negative. We've all been there right? You've just got to miser down in it. You're like, "I like it, let's just burn it down." And it's hard to get out of that space. I think that we have to help each other in that process. And it can be hard too. Just go flip 'em upside down. Let's just pick 'em up by the feet and solve the problem. But apart from those people, who are all of us. There are people who are stuck in that permanent negative zone. Man, ya gotta let 'em fly free. Ya gotta let 'em go. I think Mark Wahlberg, "I'm a peacock, ya gotta let me fly." Ya gotta let 'em fly. Ya can't keep those people around guys. The ones that are just born and refuse to not be negative. They're not great coworkers, they're not great colleagues or teammates. They're definitely not fun to be around and unfortunately you gotta figure out are they just kinda temporarily there? Are they parking there? 'Cause we all park in Negativity Land. I get it. We all get down. But if they're always there? Ya gotta take care of yourself. All right, See ya tomorrow.
