Need for Trust

Here is the another small story around managing stress with the influence of trust.

A party was under way on the deck of a ship. Suddenly an announcement was made that the ship had struck an iceberg and that it might sink.

There was panic on the deck. The priests were the most frightened. They saw a little girl and tried to inject in her some of the fear they felt.

They said, "Girl, you know the ship has struck an iceberg and might sink." But the girl did not care; she just kept dancing away.

The priests became more worried. They chased her and sat with and explained, "Do not take it lightly. It is catastrophic!"

But the girl still remained calm, and told the priests, "You see, I do not worry. The captain of the ship is my father. If he is there I do not bother about anything."

If you have trust in the Father then there is no worry. But, then, we do not trust the Father. We try to take over his work and start thinking of what is going to happen. So we have to learn the right attitude to life.
