The context for 2020 is well-known; between the pandemic and Brexit, there is vast uncertainty, coupled with a rapid shift in ways of working and groups who are unable or unwilling to work how they used to. The ever-changing economic and environmental landscape has increased risk and made long term planning hard to do. There is a need for a more iterative strategic approach that addresses shifting realities, supports incremental investments that yield the right outcomes and adopts a learn by doing mindset.

With such a scale of change, we need to rethink how we go about doing our work. Social distancing means the established working methods are impractical, but we can’t let that hold us back.  

Like most of you, we've had to work out how to operate in these times of increased uncertainty. So we developed a way to work with clients wholly remotely, wholly digitally, and now we're helping business owners and leaders to operate outside of traditional norms and rapidly reclaim a point of stability from which to resume growth.

Aligned to our Intention to Outcome framework, the ‘Respond’ sprint will get you moving forward quickly through situational awareness, problem-framing, prioritisation, and action-planning. It has been constructed using industry good practices that actually work, with a dash of Hedwyn know-how-to that draws on our cumulative decades of experience. All the content is created in real-time by our digital producers and is available digitally whenever you need it.

What is a Hedwyn digital workshop like?

In our experience, people typically want certain things from a workshop, whether in person or wholly remote.

They want it to be purposeful and well-executed; efficient and respectful use of everyone’s time. They want a tangible and actionable outcome. In the best case, work is done in a room where thoughts and ideas are expressed and then refined in real-time, rather than following the workshop with endless review sessions.

And of course, participants like workshops to be brief and not interfere too much with the rest of their work. That’s just one advantage that digital workshops have over in-person off-sites that require travel and inevitably take up a whole day—no matter how long they’re scheduled for. Though lunch and snacks can be great too!
