Need a Quick Cash Infusion? Follow My Best 4 Tips
Let me paint you a picture:
Frustrating, right? If this sounds like you, perhaps it’s time you look into cashflow and cash infusions. About 82% of entrepreneurs fail because of cashflow problems. Worse, women are not given access to capital and are still suffering from a financial literacy gap, especially when we’re only starting to expand our business.?
It’s time to take matters into our own hands: recalibrate and reframe your understanding of money. Money isn’t bad; it’s a tool. So make it work for you.?
Right now you may be stuck, but remember that you are unstoppable. A cash infusion is one way for you to pivot. But how?
First things first: Pat yourself on the back, because you’re taking good care of your business. The fact that you’re looking for more ways to sustain it means you’re headed in the right direction. But let’s face it—if you need cash right now, all these long-term marketing tactics are just not going to cut it.?
Dive right back into the bare minimum yet the most impactful strategy. Eliminate the fluff and go straight for what matters. Take an assessment of your assets and put your offer in front of the right people. Instead of getting stuck feeling hopeless or helpless, snap out of it and take control. You’re an entrepreneur, so you’re a problem solver.?
Leverage the assets and skills that you already have. You’re already sitting on tons of gold in your business. With a simple strategy, I generated my first $5k in 7 days and my first $20k in less than 45 days. I was in dire need of the cash infusion when the pandemic hit in March 2020 and I had to put my business on hold. I need you to have this kind of quick thinking as well and to look into your personal toolkit.?
At the time, despite having a negative bank account, I took the leap and invested in a $25k mentor. I’m not saying this is what you should do, but I personally found it helpful, especially since I needed to move things quickly. My marriage was at risk, and I had a team that would be gravely affected if I continued to have a rollercoaster cashflow.
So I challenged myself to go all-in. Was it easy? No. But was it worth it? Absolutely. Here are 4 things you can do to achieve the same quick cash infusion:
Mindset trumps strategy.
Dreams don’t just happen, but your decisions do. Believe in yourself, in your offer, and in the fact that you can transform lives with the services you’re sharing with the world. Don’t just run paid ads and hope they’ll stick—nail it down and get in front of the exact people who need your offer.
It’s time to collect paid invoices!
I know: you’re in the coaching and consulting business, not in the collections business. But these missed payments can be the difference between a good month and a bad one. Look into those unpaid invoices, review your contracts, see if there are interest conditions should clients delay payments, and apply accordingly. Email them directly or message them on socials—just make sure they receive the invoice reminder. You can even have a collections agency do the work for you! Remember: it doesn’t make you a bad person for collecting what is due to your business.

Realize that your self-worth is what will make the business work.
Work on your mindset and what’s going on in your head. Study people who are ten steps ahead of you and invest in yourself. When you put yourself in a circle where making millions is the norm, it will normalize in your brain too. As a result, you get to work on yourself inside and out. You’ll be able to streamline how you step into that reality as quickly as possible.
If you want to make this month the best month for your business, be freakin’ firm about it. Have that commitment to yourself that you’re going to make it work no matter what and that you’re going to train as a business athlete who does the reps every single day. It doesn’t matter that you suck at designing social cards at Canva or that you don’t have a hefty team. Even if you have all these circumstances that are telling you it can’t be done, cancel out that noise and get it done anyway.
Get comfortable with the discomfort of asking for the sale every single day until it becomes your normal.
Look: asking for the sale is not sleazy or bad. What makes it so is when you manipulate and push people without integrity, or you keep offering things that are out of your zone of genius or something they don’t want.?
That’s why you must identify who your soul-aligned clients are. Aim for mastery —you want people to swipe their credit cards because you’ve given them this transfer of confidence, so naturally you have to be confident about yourself too. Remember that you are the person who can help them.?

There are things out of your control, and frustrating that may be sometimes, there are also things you can act on already. Drive the wheel and get out there.
